Looking for ideas for something that I can lay down on the floor of our new pontoon boat to lay scuba gear, etc. on that won't leave marks from vibration (tried a black rubber floor mat with holes like in a restaurant but it leaves scuffs). Something that doesn't absorb water (or much) would be great. Looked at cutting a couple 2ft by 3-5 ft pieces of one of those floating mats people have on the lake but they are super expensive to cut up. Curious if anyone had something similar?
Thanks for any ideas!

Consider rubber horse matting or weight lifting matting. Never used these for your purpose so don’t know for sure if it’ll scuff or not but I’m pretty sure it’ll lay flat and be secure. Contact your local fitness retailer and they may be able to point you to an installer that could give you some free remnants. Also easy enough to cut to size with a sharp utility knife.

Could also look into the lock together foam flooring for kids play room. Inexpensive.

Never knew about this stuff ...... SeaDek ...... where have I been all my life? ....... Go to Ebay, enter SeaDek and there are like numerous different SeaDek items with prices ....... is interesting what it can supposedly do to a tired old boat .... if it will stick good, and fit good?

Does it get cut with a scissors, or what? ........ www.seadek.com/faqs/ ..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=KftgAOxS4o8 ..... SeaDek-ing the three flat seats on a well used, Aluma-craft, aluminum Jon-boat to give it some flash! ..... 11:12-minutes
