cross country skiing

How are conditions in the area for cross country skiing? I just got new equipment and there isn't much good snow here in Ct.
What a weird winter.....even my dog is shedding.
I'd love to head north, since it's been a couple of months since I was at Lake Winni. Any good skiing near Meredith?? :)

LADYJANE...Meredith has around 6" of snow...I'll bet the tree farm on College Rd. is pretty good for the X-country tour...

Thank you for your reply NHBUOY. Not sure where College Rd. is, but I'm sure I can find it.
Guess I feel like I need my N.H. "fix" before winter is out. I'll be looking for a time when the road conditions are good enough for the trip up, but snow will still be on the ground, good enough for a little skiing.
