Emerson posted this earlier—it'll be interesting to see how long it lasts!

Feels like a pr move to me ! Even if there’s a total skim there is no way to consider it an “ ICE IN “ cause it ain’t gonna last !

So my question is—- can you have ice in and ice out twice in one year??😄

In the same year? What about the same week?

Highly unlikely, as they are based on two sets of different criteria. I believe once ice in happens, it is "in" regardless if it starts to melt, etc. Once Mt Wash. can go to each if its ports, ice is "out". So to my mind, highly unlikely.

Sure, why not?

I am sure we will only have one ice out this year. Alton Bay is socked in and has had enough ice for a while now to prevent the Mount from reaching the dock. If that all goes, winter is over for certain.
It has been a weird winter though, I suppose never say never! :D

Looking at the forecast I can't see this being anything more than a very temporary state. I bet you couldn't declare ice in today. Friday looks like being warm enough for me to eat outside. In the not very cold rain.
