You are not alone in your search. Better luck with specialty individuals. Primary care we have yet to come across an individual we are happy with

I recently signed up with Julie at Huggins in Moultonborough as a new patient. I don't have an appointment until later this year. Not sure how its going to go.

We have been using Dr. Furlan in Moultonborough for 7 years and have been very pleased with her, the nurses and the staff.

My wife is a retired cardiac nurse and is a pretty sophisticated health care consumer so that says a lot about the Moultonborough office. She had a total knee replacement at Huggins a year ago and did her rehabilitation at Huggins in Moultonborough. Results were great. She went skiing last week with no issues, other than being nervous before the first run.

I just set my mother up with a primary care physician at the White Mountain Medical Center which I believe is in Brookfield…

It's actually shown as Sanbornville, which is part of Wakefield. Part of the Appledore Group.

My wife is a patient of Dr. Furlan and is very happy with her. My pcp is at Huggins in Wolfeboro and I can't say the same. Been thinking of changing to Julie as well (if she'd have me)

Welcome to the club! PCPs are extremely difficult to find everywhere, not just in the Lakes Region. Dr. Jonathan Polack is now in Wolfeboro (used to be with Laconia Internal Medicine.)
And I called last week—yes, he is accepting new patients!

No such problem in Portland, Oregon; I wonder why the lakes region has this issue?
With all the reitrees and wealth on the lake I'd think there would be plenty of interested doctors.
