Interesting to look at the webcams this morning. The ice is turning darker and looking for all intents like it does just prior to ice out. Lots of fog on several of the cams.
I'd like to thank the Pine Island Cam folks for adding the large thermometer to the camera view. It's a nice touch and much appreciated.

scary but it does look more like "ice-out" than "ice-in" on the Pine Island Cam... And it is thanks to forum member "Misty Blue" that had the idea for us to put the thermometer in the view...
Hope that the cold snap starting on Sunday will get us enough ice so that we can get out to the island sooooon!!!
cheers!

It is beginning to look a lot like springtime all around the lake, need to have a shot to see if the Mount can make it to all ports of call. Hard to believe that it is 55 degrees at alton bay.
I just got my boats rereistration papers this week, expired in Dec get renewel in Jan. yet others have already gotten their decals.
The Beatles had it right.....It won't be long ya ya, it won't be long, before I will launch me boat. change of words but the point is their.:emb:

Did anyone else see the house fly on the lense of the Brookwoods "FrontLawn Cam" this morning? I wasn't able to capture an image. Either that or this weather is really making me lose my mind!
