Through my Arlo web cams, I've picked up some loon cries...listening 3,300 miles away!

I'll be there soon!

Peepers started Monday just after lunch. That’s signified the end of the sap run. Starter removing buckets and taps Tuesday…

My Arlos picked up a video of a robin yesterday.

In my youth...Hmmmm...The Spring was deemed to have arrived, when we saw our first robin. I suppose that carries to my age today...

From San Francisco to Lake Winnipeasukee...

Welcome Spring 2022!!! Let the season begin!

I haven't heard a peep.

They were completely quiet today.

Must be some biological timing seasonal temperature thing.

There were 5 loons today on one side of our cove talking to a couple on the other side of the cove. That was around 11 this morning. Was surprised to hear them this early. Must of heard ice out was yesterday

Gotta love how the package is labeled gluten and fat free with only 34 calories per bunny. Like, you know, they're healthy for you!

They are healthy because you won’t eat more than one!

The "croakers" were quiet for a few days here.

But have come back.

Frogs?

Please. No jokes about people from Quebec.

Yup. Frogs. "The spring peeper (Pseudacris crucifer)[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_peeper#cite_note-2) is a small chorus frog (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chorus_frog) widespread throughout the eastern United States and Canada.[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_peeper#cite_note-:0-3) They are so called because of their chirping call that marks the beginning of spring."

I lived in Barrington for a long time, and the highlight of watching the 5k was seeing the Catholic nuns from the Rochester Orphanage running in full uniform. Some of them had very bad habits...
