My 24year old daughter is just finishing up her doctoral in Physical Therapy and has accepted a job up in the lakes regions so we are now looking for a rental for her. She will be moving up in August. Looking for at least 1 bedroom, with washer dryer and dishwasher. We have seen some at a complex called Apple Ridge. Any feedback on that place would be appreciated.
We have also seen some places on Old Lake Shore Rd, near the airport? that are modular homes. She has saved up money working through high school and college so she may be able to buy something like that with a little help. Any feedback on that area would be great as well.
She did one of her clinical rotations in the area and fell in love with NH and the people she worked with...who wouldn't

Thanks in advance for your advice

Congratulations to your daughter.
There are a number of places that rent by the week in the summer (expensive) but will lease from September through May for cheap. That could stall things off for awhile until the real estate market calms down.

While it isn't for everybody, one option would be to rent a room in someone else's home, furnished or unfurnished.

Craigslist has ads for this.

Just an FYI... Lakes Region Community College uses Apple Ridge as their "dorms" for student housing.
