For those of you who are New England weather fanatics or just have the usual interest in the weather, Todd Gross, former Chief Meteorologist for Channel 7 in Boston has started his own website for New England weather. Just weeks after being let go by Channel 7, he has resurfaced better than ever with his own deal on the web. The link is www.toddgross.com

That's a really neat site, really scratches my "weather itch" !!!

Thanks for the heads up, and I'd definitely recommend to any other wx nut out there that this is a cool site to peruse.....

Happy New Year,

I'm one of those"weather nuts".Nice website.I must say though as a person who watches all of the meteorolagists and formulate my own forecast,Todd was not one of my favorites.I'm sure he is a fine person and he has a great tv personality but he was always giving "two scenarios".Almost every storm he would show two possible tracks, seeming to try to cover all of the bases. Some people might like that but I find it annoying that he would not take a stand one way or another. However,I still watched him regularly.

Great ending wordage

..., so we'll have to wait and see.

Like Dylan sang, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing." ;)

Well no wonder he's so good! It's easy to predict the weather when you can time travel!

Channel 7 decided they wanted to go in a different direction. So the story goes that Todd showed up one Friday afternoon, did the teaser for the 4:00 broadcast, and then was asked to clear his stuff out and leave.

So much for employer / employee loyalty, but that would be a whole other thread, and not one for this site. Thanks for the insight, Rose.
