Does Boulia Gorrell sell it or give it away? I just need a small quantity, like a green garbage bag full.

Does it have to be raw sawdust? You can buy sweeping compound at Lowe's or HD, which is sawdust and silica.

Have to ask. Precisely what does one do with a bag of sawdust?

Not sure in 2021, but 100 years ago it was used as preservation to cover the blocks of ice taken out of the lake when they were put in ice houses......

Found the answer to my question: Boulia Gorrell gives it away.

My wife and I used to buy Oko Cat litter for our two cats, its sawdust. It had a good aroma of pine and worked really well blocking the odors but one my cats didn't like the feeling on his paws and started to leave his #2's at the entrance to the litter boxes in protest. We switch to crushed walnut shells which has an even stronger aroma and actually does even better job at blocking the orders. Thankfully the #2's are back in the littler boxes since we changed.

Well, since you asked: Sawdust makes an excellent medium for camping toilets. For liquid waste you use pine pellets (purchase from Tractor Supply---they're used for horse stalls and are quite cheap, highly absorbent, and odor free for several days). For solid waste sawdust is ideal.

This certainly falls into the category of 'you learn something new every day'. Sounds like kitty litter - for humans. Thanks.
