Could have boated into a 18-hour day yesterday, Wednesday the 8th.
It has been a while since I was on the lake during the week, but what a huge difference. I am sure the after Labor Day roll up the carpet had something
to do with the tranquility my son and I experienced, but genuinely an outstanding day!

May be a few more day trips in the month of September, and then it's off to Dave's for a long winters nap. Thanks a lot July!

October and November are fantastic months! If weather permits December as well! I can remember a time when Christmas was warm and inviting!

We were out on jet skis yesterday afternoon, and it was wonderful! We felt as though we had our own private lake…..smooth as silk until we hit the broads….we look forward to more days like it….but we wish the lake level could remain as is, which of course won’t be the case.

We went in from Welch to Glendale at about 11 am yesterday and did not encounter another boat under way. Sure glad that all of Glendale Bay was not made into a no wake zone.

So looking forward to retirement (years away!) so I can enjoy the shoulder seasons at the lake. No complaints about my job working in a school, but it doesn't lend itself to taking time off September - November or April - mid June so I can relax on Winnipesaukee.
