I looked at a web site that says Fays in Gilford rents snowmobiles. Can anyone confirm this?

The information may come in handy for the annual family outing in February.

Does anyone of these places let you take the sleds to where you will be riding for the weekend? I am trying to get my wife into this sport and she has never been snowmobiling before! We have a place on paugus bay and I am trying to rent 1 or 2 sleds for an up coming weekend... Need to rent them for the weekend so she can get the experience in...?

Just a tip.....There is no base yet to ride. Good trails depend on a good packed (wet, frozen) base with additional groomed snow over them to make for a smoothe ride. The worst thing that you can do if your wife is questionable as to whether or not she likes it is to take her on a bumpy trail. Just a thought. I'd wait for a little more. Just a thgought. Good Luck............

Check out the rental listings on the new state trail map. Fayes is listed for rentals. I never did get a reply from them. It may be worth a call?
