This has nothing to do with the lakes region, but some NH health care workers were involved in the generosity of Mr. Kraft of the Patriots, as he flew about 70 health care workers from the region to last night’s Super Bowl, with all expenses paid. I am sure they were thrilled to be there and to receive some thanks for all their hard work and stress over the past year. During this pandemic, it’s great to hear a feel-good story. The game was enjoyable also with its unexpected outcome.

Yes, Thanks to Bob Kraft for a lot of nice things he has done. It's not just being able to afford to help, it's that he has a lot of creativity to do things nobody else thinks of. Great guy.

As for "unexpected outcome", reports are that 76% of people betting through the NH Lottery bet in favor of the Buccaneers. The NH Lottery lost a bundle, but the rest of us had an expected outcome.

Can I be the one to say I bet and won. Thank you NH, for allowing me to do this. Not a fan of being able to purchase scratch tickets thu the NH Lottery site.
All this praise for Bob Kraft has me a bit uneasy. It was terrific he invited health care workers to the game. But, but, by doing so he now gets to write off all expenses of his private plane and trip. Just saying.

I wonder if he got them all massages at his favorite stomping grounds before heading home?[emoji1787]

The guy does something that 99.9% of us applaud him for doing and you have to drag it into the gutter, hope you are proud of yourself. :(

I can’t speak to BiggD’s post other than to say that I think he said what he did in jest.....hope that’s correct. 😇

With Tampa Bay winning and Brady getting the MVP I believe it was a “happy ending” for all

He would have been able to write off all of the expenses for the trip, even if he went by himself. He is heavily involved and invested in the NFL. Meeting with other owners, learning from games he watches, doing research on and about players who may become available to his team, are all part of running his business. This is a legitimate business expense. Buying tickets for health care workers, flying them to Tampa, and paying all of their expenses is, and should also be, a business expense. He is building goodwill towards his business.

He invited and paid for those guests because he appreciates their work and dedication, nothing more, nothing less.

Definitely a nice gesture from Kraft. I would think health care workers are about the safest fans you could have at this point too.
