Hello - we are in need of having our dirt driveway/hill ~50 yards long regraded in the spring and are looking to get 2 to 3 people to take a look and provide idea's/quotes so we are ready to go after the mud clears. We are over on the Meredith /Gilford side of the lake. Figured I'd reach out here to see if anyone has someone they can recommend for such work.

Thanks!

I think to get anyone to respond/look at this job you need to be more specific about where the driveway is located. Ames farm to the end of Meredith neck or rte 25 at center harbor line is a huge area. Good luck!

Thinking you may have better luck if you get it completed this fall. With the holidays coming up you may get a deal

Sorry - Location is Meredith Neck

Thought about doing it this fall but my fear is having the snow plowing contractor potentially tear it up in the first season. I'm not an expert on grading so maybe this is not a concern for a freshly graded road...?

Maybe whoever plows should also be doing the grading and maintenance? If he has a year round contact, you both might be happier.

Some years ago, my plow guy went out of business (commercial, no more residential).. I walked around thew neighborhood and talked to the owner of the best plowed driveway. Plow drivers love to get extra work in one area. He's been with me ever since, and I've been able to get him some extra work. Perfect.

We had a shared 1/3 mile long gravel driveway at a past home. Our neighbor had a DR power grader that he towed behind a lawn tractor every few months. It worked great. Every few years you may need to add a bit of gravel to help level it out.
