New Use For Swim Noodles

I know it is foolish to suggest a new use for swim noodles to FLL, but I could not resist. An alternative to the dreaded cone for dogs to prevent them from licking wounds or stitches. My chocolate lab would find a way to ingest some of them and he would then need the real cone.

We have been treating a small bacterial infection on our Springer’s lower jaw (the part of her snout where the skin is floppy and drooly) so we have been using an e-cone as well as a blow up donut similar to your use of the noodles.
She was scratching the area and caused a hot spot.
The cone we bought is a soft cone made of nylon covered foam called “Focuspet”
Works great as she is almost healed up! Great use of noodles, I must say!
