Missing Something?

Found in a massive pile of debris that washed up on our dock during the high water & wind. If anyone knows where the rest of this is, let me know. It probably blew from the Moultonboro Bay/Melvin Bay/Black Island area toward the shore between Twenty Mile Bay and Wawbeek. I still have it if you'd like to claim it.

Looks like a tiller arm for a sailboat.... Those are pretty pricey to replace. Hopefully someone will claim it. I wonder what happened to the rest of the boat???

Yep -- a tiller from a good-sized sailboat. It may have come from Camp Winnaukee across the way.

I think the item in question is a combination rudder/tiller arm/ and tiller arm extension for a sunfish-type boat.

This one is bigger than that for Sunfish, I believe. At least it's bigger than the one for our old sailfish.
