I need to get a ride to Logan airport for my wife, my cat, and myself.
I called a local limo service, and was given a price of $225 'one way'', and that did not include a gratuity. Granted, this was for a driver and a sedan car, seriously ! I'm in the wrong business !
Any suggestions of limo, taxi services who travel to Logan ?
Thanks !

Actually, your best bet may be to go to the bus station at Exit 14 on Rte. 93 in Concord, NH.
Concord Trailways has multiple trips directly to Logan Airport each day (unless Covid-19 has changed that).
Save some big bucks!

Lakes Taxi Meredith. Great reviews. We were going to use them last year for Portland, but some kind friends volunteered. 707-2354. Good luck!

I second Lakes Taxi. Robert can be reached 603-707-2354. I am not sure about the cat but I do know that Concord Coach doesn't allow pets.

There are quite a few folks advertising for this on the NH craigslist.
Check under "sevices" then "travel vac"

I use them frequently. Ask for Dave.
$185 to Logan from Meredith. I tip him well, however...Very reliable.

Concord Coach - the bus: From the Irving Gas station in Meredith, NH, at the bottom of high school hill on Rt-25....... going to Logan International Airport in East Boston, www.concordcoachlines.com says it costs thirty dollars/one way, and fifty five dollars/round trip.

According to Concord Coach Lines website, only service animals are allowed on the bus. No pets.

Management just says ..... puts that in the web site, but on the bus it doesn't get enforced. It's not like you will get left by the side of Rt-93 for sneaking a cat under your coat onto the bus ..... everybody loves having a cat, on-board, along for the bus ride ..... including the bus driver.
Goats, sheep, or a pot bellied pig are a no-go ....... but a lovely cat is actually very appreciated on the bus ride.

Closed last spring due to Covid-19. I used to use them frequently. So I started using Lakes Region Limo. Happy to see CCL re-open.
CCL has two busses per day that go between Meredith and Logan. If you can't arrange a flight to coincide with the times for the bus, you'll have a long wait.
Lakes Region Limo (LRL) picked me up in Meredith at 4:30 am at my front door. No need to have someone drive me to the bus stop at that time (Ughhh). Dave got me to Logan, last trip, in 1 3/4 hrs. My flight left at 8:25 am. CCL would have got me to Logan the night before in order to make this flight. COVID lessened the number of flight options, so coordinating with CCL schedule was not a good option.
My trips from Logan to Meredith were great. Like having my brother pick me up and driving me north. I landed. Got my bag. Walked out the exit. Got into the car and within 2 hrs. I was unpacking in Meredith.
I know Dave will take pets, because I didn't have one with me, I don't know his policy.
Now that CCL is back in biz, will I use them? Not sure. Door-to-door service was SO convenient. Being able to come-and-go with flights at any time is a convenience worth something (taking advantage of flight discounts and arriving at any time).
LRL costs $185 for several passengers. I give Dave a $40-$50 tip so it comes to $225-235. So, if you minus out the $30 CCL fare PER PERSON, it'll cost around $195 for as many people as Dave allows (not sure the #), plus pet.
Explore your options...

I understand he is looking for a driver and cost appears to be the issue. But, could rent a car one way and drive. Cost is minimal. $30?

I used to drive to Logan Express in Woburn and take the shuttle to Logan.
Shuttle was about $20pp round trip and a 15 minute ride non-rush hour.
Parking was ~ $7 a day if I remember.
So $40 for two people + $7 x however many days you're parking.

The Concord bus is running on a very limited schedule. Also, it goes through South Station both ways so you lose some time there.
The last few times I have traveled I have taken the C&J Bus out of Newburyport. I know it is a little longer drive but the schedule is back to almost hourly, with a few exceptions, and the parking is free.
It works well and if you will be gone for a few weeks it saves money on the parking. That bus goes direct to Logan and direct back to Newburyport so the trip seems very quick.
