It's blueberry season in the Lakes Region and what better way to spend a few hours than heading to one of the many wonderful farms throughout the area to pick up more than a few pints. It's possible that given COVID, some of these farms may restrict pick-your-own this year but you'll at least be able to buy ready-picked plump, fresh, tasty berries and support hard working locals and their businesses.

'Blueberries and crackers' is a four-generation tradition in my family. It makes a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Simply break (don't crumble) eight to ten Heritage Mills Classic lunch crackers into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries, a cup or so of milk and then sugar to taste.

DELICIOUS. Try this and you'll be addicted. Added benefit, blueberries are one of the most healthful foods you can eat.

Only thing we've found is that it can be a bit difficult finding the crackers here in NH (and no other crackers will do). This year we brought six boxes from CT. If anyone knows what grocery stores carry these in the area, please post here. A photo of the box is below.

We had pancakes this morning, and will have muffins tomorrow AM, using Angelic Farm blueberries we picked yesterday.
