Unlike previous years, this year is a bit different in the world due to the Covid-19 situation but I do want to wish all a very nice 4th of July weekend.
Please be safe out there and use common sense when it comes to drinking and driving.
Each year there are many amateur fireworks type accidents so please exercise caution when using any type of fireworks (especially around young children).
Let's all plan to be safe, healthy, and return to do it again in 2021.

Happy 4th everyone! Here's a video of what today would look like at Weirs Beach without the current situation. That sure was a beautiful day:

Gray day here in Boston, put my flag out early, but it just doesn't feel the same. I have been on the Lake for a couple of fourths, so I am wishing all well and safety out there today.
Carona'd out here in Melrose.

The watercraft activity on this Independence Day is as active as we have seen in several years. The weather is perfect, and the water temperature here at East Bear Island is a comfortable 77 degrees. And tonight the fireworks activity should be spectacular. Enjoy!!!

There was already a serious accident in Laconia involving homemade fireworks. One victim was transported by helicopter to Lebanon Hospital. I received pictures of the injury and it looks like he lost a lot of his knee. Pictures are too graphic to share.
Be safe!
