This is just a reminder to vote YES for Broadband and for the three candidates for the board—Leo Dwyer, Bill Darcy, and Marc Portu—who have endorsed our proposed bylaw change which would make “facilitating broadband for its members” a part of the CO-OP’s charter. It is the only way many parts of rural NH will be able to get fast, reliable, and affordable fiber internet access, which is as important today as electricity was in the 1930’s when the CO-OP was founded. More than 100 rural electric Co-OPS around the country provide access to internet for their members. More information is available on our website: NHBroadband.com

In case you (1) haven't received your ballot for this year's NH Electric Coop election, (2) misplaced it or (3) tossed it before realizing how uniquely important your vote is this year, here's how to redeem the situation: Call 800-6982007 and take option 5, then option 0 to ask a NHEC customer service person to resend a paper ballot, or Go to NHECsmarthub.coop, log into your account, and click on the VOTE NOW tab at the top of the home page. (If you don't have an online account, it's easy to set one up.) If you had requested an electronic ballot a couple of months ago and didn't receive it by email on 5/21, follow the steps above.

Voting closes on June 16. But don't wait, do it now!

Totally agree with above post. Vote these three candidates to allow competition for broadband in the future. Time for the Coop to reflect the changing needs of its customers rather than the same old same old.
