Who in the region does the best job replacing rub rails?

I am not aware of anyone in the area doing it as a specialty, but Unique Boat Restoration in Moultonborough or maybe Jerry Harper over in Meredith.

What type of rub rail do you have? Looking to have the rubber insert replaced or an entirely new rail installed?
How about some more info? Make of Boat?
Year? Length? Any photo's? On a trailer?

Thanks. I decided to do it myself. I'm restoring a 1987 Cobalt 21BR and wanted original materials. Luckily, my light blue rubber is in good shape, because I could not find that. But the aluminum extrusion was beat up. I found some of that at Greatlakesskipper. It's sold in 96" lengths so shipping was going to be over $200 because packages over 96" get wacked. But GLS agreed to cut two inches off each piece and that brought the shipping down to $30.

Great boat, one of my favorites. What are you powered with?

Merc 260HP w Cobra outdrive. Not too much power, but the boat is so heavy that a cruise across the Broads on a windy day is like riding on glass.
