Big BOOM ! Anybody know what it was ?

A huge BOOM just happened, I'd say around 3:05 maybe ? I was outside and heard it, much louder than the ice or a tree. Inside folks said it shook the house. Anybody now anything ? Another earthquake ?

Occasionally I hear medium boom sounds coming from the woods at night.

I wonder if someone is testing explosives.

People were saying they heard it in Pittsfield and Conway. That was a mighty big blast!! Some people are in doubt.

These sounds travel through the ground, therefore being heard many miles away. Similar to firing at Edwards Army base on Cape Cod. There are close by areas where nothing is heard, then several miles it can be heard.
