I have my 3 services with 3 different providers and trying to find a recommendation where I can package all 3 for a better price. My Dish contract (2 years) expires in July so shopping now.
Currently:
TV - Dish ($50 - basic)
Internet - Atlantic BB ($66 - 100 kbps)
Telp (landline) - Consolidated ($55 - unlimited)
My costs collectively are about $170 monthly
I have been checking with providers including the ones I already have but not having much luck in lower rates and thought maybe someone here might have an insite to a better search.
Thanks

I have Comcast for all three, ill soon add cell phone, $12 vs $52 for Verizon. We saved $50-60 a month moving two landlines from Verizon to Comcast, mostly because of long distance charges. Comcast is really the only high speed internet in our neighborhood, no DSL. Satellite (Dish and Direct TV are not real good in our hollow. If I had an internet alternative, I'd probably go to streaming TV as a much cheaper option since I already have Amazon Prime.
Summary: my choices are limited.
For camp, oddly enough, I can get DSL, and speeds have improved, so I will drop Direct TV and use Consolidated for Telephone and Internet with streaming TV.

Thanks. I forgot about ComCast and I'll check them out. My choices too are limited. I'm behind Winnisquam Marine and the area has not been updated for a long time with newer equipment.
UPDATE: Checked with Comcast but do not have service in my area.

If you already have good internet, you do not need a landline or cable tv.
For phone, look into a VoiP if you do not have good cell coverage. Do some reading up on VoiP phones. I used an OBtalk at my old condo and it is a small box you purchase/own and can reroute onto Google Voice.
For TV, Roku, Amazon Prime, Youtube TV, Hulu all over the Internet. With Youtube TV you even get local content.

Thanks for the advice. I'm very familiar with VoiP and I don't require cell coverage.

I did a price comparrision between AB, Comcast and Spectrum after the teaser deals. (Standard rates in Belmont. Comcast in Rochester)
Atlantic Broadband Comcast Spectrum
Basic TV 35.95 30.00 23.89
Internet 60.95 79.99 65.99 (100/10)
DTA 6.99 - 6.50
Comcast do not have DTA, you need to rent a DVR box.
I buy my own modem. Refurbished on Amazon for about $50
My cell phone is my landline. I use X-Linx to connect to house phone jack.
Can't justify a DVR or Tivo when all movies, TV shows, news are available on line.
I use ccloud.tv for my tv subscription and Netflix/Amazon Prime on Roku for movies.
If your 55+ Verizon has an unlimited package of $40 a line.

Thanks for your suggestion and taking the time. I found out that most of the services you mention (Comcast & Spectrum) are not available in my area but I'll check again. The only services I found that offer all 3 in my area is ABB but they cost more than what I already have with 3 different providers.

Have you checked with ABB to see if you can get any of the promotional bundles (since you only have internet with them)? Maybe worth a shot. 2 year price lock with contract.
I got the ABB TiVo Ultimate bundle for $149 (after taxes and fees and a couple of additional boxes, around $190). Includes 250 channels (HBO, etc.), unlimited land line and 250 Mpbs Wi-Fi (been clocking around 200).
The basic bundle (100 Mpbs Wi-Fi, land line and 60 channels) is around $60 plus taxes and fees.
So far, happy with the service (seems a little bit better than the old Metrocast). Time will tell. Maybe when my contract is up, Comcast will be in the area - a little competition never hurts.

Yes, I agree. Their internet is great and was going to call today to see if they have a 'special'. When I talked to someone last Friday their price was the same as what I have already but suggested to contact sales for a possible better deal. Thanks again.

Good luck. I think it all depends on who you get on the phone.

I've talked to 4 different sales rep at ABB and no break. After equip rental cost is more than the 3 providers I already have. Looks like I'll have to stay with what I have unless Dish raises my rate after my 2 year contract is up in July.
