Came back home after being away for 2.5 weeks and was surprised the lake was up above its seasonally high level and water flows out were in the normal range. Wondered if there is a reason the outflow isn't up higher given the lake level. I sure hope it goes down in the next three weeks enough so that when ice forms, it doesn't damage docks and piers.

Judging now that my ancient aluminum dock is no longer partially totally submerged, the lake level has gone down about two to three inches in the last week or so, which should make it much easier to take it all apart, and remove ....... thankyou to the Lakeport Dam for being such a good dam!

Am awaiting for that big, big, big December warm-up ..... sunny and 70-degrees ..... that big December Indian summer! ..... plus the motorboat is still up on the boat lift .... whoop-whoop-whoop ..... ugh ...... holy cowabunga!

Ice-in is scheduled for January 10, 2019 .... about seven weeks away.

The Lee's Mill launch area is already iced in. My boat and seasonal dock were removed from the lake three weeks ago, just in time. The water level, now with rain on top of the ice, is still as high as I have ever seen it.

Just my guess, can't let too much water out of the lake due to the rivers down stream are super high as well. Living around the Merrimack river, I will say it is very high and the Lowell falls are above Spring levels.
