I’m surprised that the water level is higher than usual for this date. I checked the records and we’re at 503.8 ft compared to 503.2 this time last year. 2016 was the year we all remember at 502.4 where it was hard getting boats out. I think they should hold off the draw down until after Columbus Day as we can have some real nice boating days into October. I think Sunday is going to be one of them.

I agree. October specifically Columbus weekend is my favorite time at the lake, especially to boat. Not a lot of boat traffic and I like to putt around seeing all the sites and the "difficult" areas like Sally's Gut, whole in the wall, ect

Waukewan is the highest I've seen it in years at this time of year. There is a crop of rocks about 100 yards from my dock that are usually poking through pretty good about this time of year. They are still submerged as of last weekend when I took my boat out for the season. :(
