Any suggestions for a boat hauler other than Miles? Bringing the boat up from northern MA to Gilford.

Could try your luck with someone on UShip.com
With that said I have used Miles Marine twice and they have been very good to deal with.

I have used Miles several times to bring boats to and from Florida and once to bring an oversize boat from upstate New York. I wouldn't use anyone else.
At least you know they are someone with insurance and do everything legally correctly. When you use someone from U Ship the only thing you can be sure of is they have access to the internet. There are too many horror stories out there to take a chance on someone who you are not sure of.
There is a reason why all of the local marinas do business with Miles.

I was just looking for a backup. Wasn't sure Miles and I could find common ground schedule wise, but we finally have. Thanks!

Ya, you take some degree of risk with uShip, but that being said, I had my 24’ FW towed from Milton NH to Ft Myers Fl with no issues and it was at a very good price. Just be careful with your selection.

There is a lot that goes on behind the scene that puts a truck on the road with a boat on the back.
Taking the time to properly place a cargo strap, acquiring fees to travel with a heavy, high or wide load.
Fees just to purchase diesel for the rig in another state..
insurance for the driver, the truck, trailer and boat.
The Miles crew works hard to keep what they have earned and grown over the years and that is done by following the rules. They are a solid group that knows its paramount to dot the "I's" and cross the 'T's" by doing things right. It may cost more to transport, but all for said reasons.

I hope no one thought I had a problem with Miles. As I stated, I was just looking for a backup if we couldn't find common ground on our respective schedules.
Miles arrived on Wednesday, prepped the boat, and were on their way in 30 minutes. They are currently servicing the boat. They will drop it in Glendale when it's ready. All is right with the world.
