Best places for sunrise/sunset photographs?

I've seen a lot of amazing sunrise and sunset pictures in the photo galleries here and I'm just wondering if anyone can suggest some great spots to go in order to get beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures...Thanks! :)

Judging by the number of great pictures, I'd say it's not so much of question of where but rather of when. Anyplace you can see the Sun set and the lake simultaneously seems to work, you just need some good clouds.

One of my favorite spots to watch the sunset while on the water is from Becky's Garden area, just outside of the Black Cat Island Bridge or behind Big Beaver Island. The sun goes down over Leavitt Park/Farrar Point area.
