I see that Snake Eyes is still defunct - Island Girl do we need to start a fundraising campaign for new equipment? I for one keep looking for that view I've come to enjoy so much. I love the winter and all but......

Bring back Snake Eyes...............Whatever it takes, the forum will deliver :D

The issue with Snake Eyes is technical. I need to login directly to the camera. It is old and the serial interface required does not exist on today’s computers. I ordered the part I needed and it was wrong. I should have correct part tomorrow. Snake Eyes may be back tomorrow. In the meantime I have added a link to fundraiser for a new cam in the same location.

Thanks for your support!

If the protocol on an old XP-based laptop will fit the bill, I'd be happy to offer it up for the time being.

I believe it's an old Dell.

The issue to get into the cam is a db9 male/male cable with an old computer or db9/usb for a newer one. I have both computers just no cable. The gender bender I received yesterday was 15 pin not nine. The correct cable is waiting for me to pick up. It is a tad too windy for my tastes right now. If it calms down a bit I will go and get it.

I am so sorry for the delay. I will, try to post a current picture today.
