Would like to ride the lake from 20 mile bay to Meredith to watch the races this Saturday. What would you say the safest passage would be?

Which race are you referring to? The dog sled race is postponed until March 3rd

I think you will be hard pressed to find snow to cool your sled. I just cancelled the radar run we were going to have at the Center Harbor Skatefest on Sunday for that reason.

Saturday – February 17th
Racing starts at Noon – $10 per car for spectators
Entrance will be the boat ramp beside the Meredith Docks.
**Race car drivers and crews** Please be on the lake by 10am for traffic reasons in town.

Looking at the webcams I don't think scratchers are going do a thing.

Wonder how long the ice at the boat ramp will hold up with all the vehicle traffic. That spot is always the first to get dicey...

I noticed today that the ramp at Meredith town docks is closed off (foot traffic probably okay)
