I think I post this thread every January but it has to be done...:) I got my Spring launch form in the mail from MVYC on Friday and it just makes me smile. Let's hope the next 2.5 months fly by as fast as the Summer seems to every year!!

I think maybe 3.5 months. I understand the rain a coupe of days ago cleared the snow for just about perfect skating ice. Any ice boaters out there for a winter launch? Pictures?

I've been doing this every day since the boat was pulled in October. :(

At my marina, they are the first to be launched. The ice quickly disappear on the river in Lakeport. I've seen my boat launched as early as March!

Being in the boathouse at LLM has many advantages, especially if you winter there, early launch, late takeout. I especially like it during the summer if I get caught in the rain. Park the boat, leave it uncovered to dry out and just walk away.

Just saying,
