As regular members know, this site has a free Classifieds area and I've been somewhat strict about keeping those kind of ads off the forum. The problem is that some forum posts are in a grey area, not quite a classified ad but close. If the post is general (ie: What's the best way to find a cottage rental?) it has been welcomed on the forum. If it is specific (ie: Does anyone have a 2 BR cottage for rent?) it is usually removed.
To allow for those posts I've created a new Marketplace section on the forum. It is not intended to replace the Classifieds but now there is a place to post more specific questions and allow conversation about goods and services. Although businesses are allowed to participate they may be limited if they misuse that section.
