I see they tore the building down. Anyone have an idea whats going in that spot?
With the renovation of the old building next to carpenter school into a B&B there is a lot going on in downtown Wolfeboro.

Btw, Sal is still in business: he's moved out RT-109, opposite Hodge Shore Road.

Yeah, I also heard from the locals that the Center st. Citizens bank will move there. Not sure what's happening with the Center St. building.

I have heard that the old Citizen's Bank on Ctr. St. has been sold but no word on what he is going to do with it.

I heard that Walgreen's has purchased the Citizens Bank Building. Walgreen's has bought out Rite Aid - no word on what's going in where Rite Aid currently is.

Those were certainly the rumors, Cin, but I don't think any of it has come to be -at least yet. And the last I heard is that the bank has been sold but not to Walgreen's. Guess we will find out when something starts happening. Anything can change.

Wolfeboro is no different than many Towns in this State - it has 2 major seasons, 1), from about June 15 thru about Oct 15 is TOURISM season; and 2), from about Oct 16 to June 14 is RUMORISM season. Sometimes, because of a particularly juicy tid-bit, there might be an overlap at either end.
