Here's something I never tried until recently ..... until I stumbled across it the other day over at Heath's Super in Centre Harbor .......and, buoy-O-buoy.....am I so glad that I found it...... a ten-pak of www.betteroats.com ..... for something like 2.79/10 microwave servings, all in one box containing ten paper envelope containers ..... all total, about the size of a box of grapenuts .... the Oat Revolution in two flavors; classic or maple sugar. Cook on high for 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave, after adding water ....and is easy to do....it can be made when still half asleep and totally hung over.
Not available at either Hannaford's or Wal-Mart ...... it is available in both classic and maple sugar at Heath's Super Market in Center Harbor.
So, take it from me, the world's greatest 65-year old, one man, dock removal team, ever ever ever, in the world history of removing docks for the last thousand years ..... it's the Oat Revolution ..... by Better Oats.... steel cut, instant oatmeal ....... totally yummy, and even good for you, too.

I would bet if you rolled this stuff into tiny balls the geese would love it.

No, Better Oats are good for people, and NOT for Canada geese! Besides, after cooking Better Oats with the correct amount of water for 2 1/2-minutes in the microwave on high ....... it is very, very hot ....and requires a chaser of milk or grape-pomegranate, ready to drink, to avoid the possibility of burning your insides.
Cheez-its, classic flavor, will float, and can easily be thrown like a Frisbee out to a goose .... 30-40 feet away....... and the geese totally, really like to eat Cheez-its, classic.
Better Oats are for people, and not for Canada geese!

Use skim milk or 1% instead of water and it tastes even better and still healthy

I guess I have been on this forum a bit too long as I found this post to be the funniest thing I have read this year. I must be losing it...
