Where's the Post Office on the island?

Actually, I am looking for the location of the wreck of the Horseboat Barge, which is near the PO dock. Any pointers appreciated.

Hey Grant,I don't know if this helps you but on my Bizer map it shows the location on the western most tip of Bear between the NWZ markers,almost due east from the black marker closer to shore in 30 feet of water. SS

According to my Bizer Map, it's very close to the mail dock. I believe Bizer gives the waypoint in their waypoint file - pretty sure it's in my handheld. I remember snorkeling around there back 15+ years ago (long before the NWZ, and boat congestion). Lots of bottles and other debris as you'd expect from the old hotel.

I'd do that dive early early on a weekday. Even though it's inside the NWZ, there's significant traffic through there and not much depth.

I figured it was on the Bizer chart. I have an old chart here in my office -- the Bizer chart is somewhere at home. Thanks for the info!

I have been down to the horse boat a few times.

The Post Office is the small building on the concrete Mail Dock, look for the flag. From the southwest corner of the Mail Dock go straight out about 100' to the horse boat. I think its more like 35 feet down.

Not much to see, but very historic.
