I've just gone through loads of winter pictures in the gallery. I'm looking for the one that had a small cabin on what looks like a little island in Winni. There's lots of snow at the time. I love this picture and just can't find it. That's where I first saw it a few years ago. Anyone got any idea on what page in the photos it might be? Thanks. Love those winter scenes.

Here's one I took last year of a Bob House on Meredith Bay.

Was it this place but in winter?
That's a fine looking Springer there!

I believe they bring the house off the island during the winter.

Thanks for the responses but neither is the one. This was a real cabin and as I recall it looked like a bridge of sorts to the mainland. It was so picturesque. I was taken in 2001 I believe. Enjoy the holiday weekend.

From your description snowflake, it would have to be Alby Abreya's, my favorite!!

Thank you, TRFOUR, that's exactly the one I was looking for. I'd love to be living there!
Nice picture but living there I don't know....
Beautiful, fascinating pictures, TR4. Thanks.
The two are not photos of the same house, right? The larger one on the left appears to be a cape surrounded by coniferous trees while the smaller one on the right looks like a two-story colonial surrounded by deciduous trees.

The top picture (of two) displayed by trfour in the reply above was actually taken by me. It is of Harvard Island at the entrance of Blackey Cove in Moultonborough NH. It was taken from my house looking in a south westerly direction from inside of Blackey Cove. I have it on my computer as a screen saver to remind me of the beauty of the lakes in the winter.

BTW, the two photo's by trfour are of different places. I cannot identify the bottom one, but it is definitely not of Harvard Island.

Holy O'l timmeahs and brain cramps, tummyman!! I just tried to find your picture and it must be well hidden... When and where did you post it?
I took for granted that it was Alby's, my bad.
The second picture is Alby's, of Ship Island in W Alton.
