Alton Bay Old Home Fireworks Saturday Aug 13th

Alton Bay will be having fireworks on Saturday August 13th starting at 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, I have not seen much in the way of notification on this, other than in the Baysider yesterday.

Come by car, or come by boat and enjoy all that the Bay has to offer.

Additionally, there is the craft show starting at 9 AM, good food to be had all around the bay, mini golf, ice cream at several places, and a free concert by Annie and the Orphans at 7 PM.

The Bay has many small businesses that would love to see you this weekend.

Ok... no good deed goes unpunished. As I went to put a similar post on Facebook, I saw a post from the Alton Police Dept stating that due to anticipated bad weather tomorrow, the fireworks are postponed until Sat Aug 27th, with a rain date of Sunday the 28th.

Thanks! Are they just as good as those on July 3rd? We missed them and would like a second chance to see fireworks over the bay this year.

Overall, they are usually a pretty good show. I'm kinda partial because I love just about any display I watch from the boat, and I live here, they are my town's displays, so I helped pay for them. :)
