The following photos are of a mooring ball with a valid 2016 permit sticker attached (#735) that I saw floating free this afternoon in Wolfeboro Bay. Message me to arrange return if it is yours

Shouldn't the title read "found" mooring ball?

Since you can read a valid 2016 registration sticker, shouldn't MP be able to contact the owner?

Found Mooring Balls:

In the past when we have rescued a mooring ball, we contact Marine Patrol and let them know that we have it, so if the owners call they can pass on the info. We then put it on land in a way that it is visible to the owners passing by. So far, we are three for three for reuniting mooring balls to their owners. :D I hope you will have the same luck!

Thanks to all for your input! My wife and I dropped the mooring ball off at the MP trailer near the new headquarters building a few days ago and was assured that it would find its way back to the owner. As a reward for our good deed ...... We treated ourselves to lunch at the Lyons' Den!
