The thread title had me thinking it was a lost dog that needed finding.

I am relieved to see that it is a found dog whose family needs to be found.

Let's hope they reconnect soon!

Let's hope it's real soon. I'm sure there are some very anxious owners out there. I wonder if anyone has checked for a chip ID? Our Sadie's still works after 10 years. I have it checked every annual physical.

If you bring the dog to any reputable vet they can scan him/her

I just called the police department (6/21 at 4pm) and the family who lost the gold retriever has been reunited with their dog. The family is from out of state... a good ending nonetheless.
