I spotted a large flock of Turkeys today at a cemetery. There were several Toms in the flock, the last one was the biggest. I took the shots using my car as a blind.

What detail you have captured! We have a lot of turkeys on our Hollis property, which drives my Cairn Terriers nuts. They are super at eating bugs, so they make me very happy. No ticks here! :D Occasionally we see them on Rattlesnake Island. They sure can be noisy flying through the woods! We had one nest on our cliff many years ago. That was so cool!

Thank you! Wow, those are great images. I never saw a Turkey's nest before, let alone one with eggs in it.

seems the gobblers are getting amorous a little bit early this year with the mild winter. The large flock in our neighborhood had all the "boys" in the flock doing the turkey version of West Side Story in the middle of the street.

We have two groups of Wild turkey in our yard.
They show up twice a day, sometimes at the same time, and go after the seeds that are all around the base of our bird feeders. They will scatch at the seed and eat what the birds missed.
One group has 5 turkeys the other has 11.

Those Toms are really disgusting when there "in the mood". But I do love to see them in the yard, preferably not up close.
