Looking to have a retaining wall rebuilt in West Alton and we are looking for a mason.

From an old thread I have the names/number of Branching Walls in Meredith and Eric & Phil's in Barnstead. Would appreciate any feed back on either of those two and any other suggestions.

(Yes, our upper driveway does have an 11 degree pitch.)

Harry Gordon Stone Works has done several stone masonry projects for me. He was recommended to me by a neighbor, and he does excellent work.

He is based in Gilmanton, and his phone number is 603-524-4635.

You should speak to my neighbor, he had his rocky shoreline replaced with a total concrete patio, right up to the water line, a new beach, trees taken down by the waters edge for a better view, paved and extended his driveway for more parking, all with no permits. Might cost you tho ;)

Thanks. We already have had two good estimates. We think that either Harry Gordon or Brendan Olden would do a good job and we picked one to do the job.

Finished wall:

We had picked Harry Gordon to do the work, he was recommended by DRH. He has a small excavator and brought two helpers the 1st day and three helpers the 2nd day finishing the job. They did the wall shown below as well as a smaller wall and granite front steps.

Harry did being in a load of nice stone in his little truck. Compare the finished wall with the old wall shown in post # 1.
