my two oldest longtime friends are from back when we were all 4 and 6 years old and we were "summer friends" in neighboring cottages in Braun Bay... and are still lake friends today, but get to spend more time there!

and now the next generation has now grown up together in the summers and are all in their 20s and great friends...

We only just "discovered" Winni seven summers ago when we decided to tow the boat up for the day. Now the boat lives at Minge Cove; we're up every week all season and can't imagine life without the lake!:D

That article summed up my childhood. We had a cottage and then a lake house behind Christmas Island, and loved it so much that we moved up when I was 12. No better childhood could be had!
