New Webcam

Hi, I know there have been discussions here before concerning webcam technology. But it's been a while, and given the pace of technology change, hoping the experts here can help point me in the right direction.

I've been asked to investigate the replacement of the Merrymeeting Lake webcam ( currently an Axis 2401 Video Server)

Requirements would include,


stand alone server
outdoor location
high quality resolution
POE or power over cable
night vision not required
ability to manage remotely
video stream capture and storage (storage can be moved to another location)


I'm sure I have some of the terminology above incorrect. Feel free to correct and educate.

Stardot, ubiquiti, and nest (formerly dropcam) would be the 3 I would look into.

Pricing varies as well as complexity vs ease of use.
