Heyas. Just poking around if there are any folks on here that are into knitting and spinning. My wife is huge into it and I'm sure she'd love to meet up with a few folks. We're also big supporters of those that have animals. For her birthday I took her to an alpaca farm where I bought her a few skanes (SP?) of yarn from the animals. We currently have an angora rabbit that I remove the fur from on a regular basis.

I'm sure if there was anyone around, my wife would enjoy meeting up with someone and using the spinning wheels together. :)

I'm not sure where you live, but I know Gilford library coordinates ladies getting together.

I went to a crochet gathering there. Though all the ladies were about 20 years older, I had a great time.

We had a mini sheep farm when I was younger. Raised Angora and spun and weaved our own yarn. I'll get back into spinning when I fully retire . . . it's very therapeutic.

All the best.

NH has knitting guilds that she can reach out to
http://www.knittingonthenet.com/guilds/gnh.htm

Also....does she belong to the online knitting forum Ravelry? If not, have her join. I think there are thousands upon thousands members & it's free. There are links to meet ups, free patterns etc.

I hope this helps!!
I am a big knitter myself!!!
