Any recommendations of a realtor to contact about possibly listing a small lot in Moultonborough. Thinking about putting it out there this summer and see what interest it stirs up.

If it's simple, you may wish to do it yourself and save the percentage. We bought a camp in Moultonborough on our own and used Merrimack Title out of Concord for all the paperwork.

Land is 10% with realtors too. I have a lot for sale now and that is what my agreement is. I don't understand why because it seems like a lot less work for realtors than a lot with a building.

Thanks...I've emailed a realtor but haven't heard back yet. Will give them a few more days and probably just move onto someone else. Not going to try it myself for the few thousand they'll make not worth the headaches to me.

DPG, we're using Jean Poitras out of Roche Realty. Like what she has done for us so far.

Hope that helps,
Bill

My family used Trish Conley of the Bean Group this year to purchase a place. She was great!

10%, must be a smaller price tag. We have a realtor who is charging 3%. She is new to the property so hard to recommend her at this point.

I would consider listing it yourself, but I have real estate finance background. You are looking for a cash buyer or someone who can come in with the cost of the land and finance a building. You might want to look into your set backs and whatnot. The realtor typically isn't going to do this for you. You need to create the vision for the buyer.

Good luck.

Send me her name. This piece of property is listed at $350,000 now I think.

Just an opinion.
They are all crooks. Well, the ones I have met anyway.
OK, a tad too harsh.

I have sold two homes myself.
Both times I also had a real estate agent.
But I put in contract the right to sell myself.
They all will tell you that this is not "normal", but of course, it is.
Apparently, I did a better job of advertising and a better job with my own Open House(s).
