While dining at the Lyons Den last night I think I saw new single engine patrol boats tied up at the Marine Patrol dock. They looked like smaller versions of the twin engine RIBs without a fully enclosed cabin: hard top with front windshield. Looked good and probably much more economical to operate.
If it's like the one pictured below in white, the NHMP have had them for at least two years—when these photos were taken. (Or at least as long enough to wear out the seat).
:look:
The boat hook has a handy push-broom accessory! ;)

I cannot locate Marine Patrols assets or inventory on any government entity website. (i.e. Dept. Admin Svces; NH DOT; Gen Court Audit Reporting/Office of Leg Budget Asst; DOS).
Anyone have any insight on where I can access such data? I'm always curious as I see lots of boats sitting at the HQ, and only two employees listed as MP on the online roster.
My other thought is that these boats are leased and it is not a requirement to list such assets individually.

The MP is now under State Police, maybe assets are there. There are some holiday days when most of the boats are out.
As for staff, we watched spring training both on the water and at the indoor range. I would guess at lest 10 officers, probably more as some are seasonal and some likely are part time.

We live directly across from MP. I watch them every spring doing their training. It is odd that they only list one MP and one MP I on the 'state employee roster'. I know there are other ranks and maybe just didn't appear?
And I cannot find one boat as an asset under any of the departments, particularly DOS. Oh, well. When I feel froggy I'll put in an official request.

I've seen those around the lake but the ones i saw at the MP dock were smaller RIB types.
