Maybe someone can help? I have guests who would like to try a zip line when they come up but don't not want to make a day of it. Does anyone know of a place that allows one zip, not a whole tour?

Go to the Gunstock Mnt web site to see the summer activities. They have the zip-line. It's really a blast.

Gunstock lists 1.5 hours for their Zipline "tour"... certainly not an all day affair.

Also at Gunstock: off road Segway tours, really a lot of fun.

We did the Gunstock zipline and it is THE BEST in the area. Their zipline mechanism is very well-made and easy braking.

Didn't know there was another one in the area. You should try the one at Wildcat! http://www.skiwildcat.com/ziprider.html

Loon is great for kids & adults.... goes over the river.

Wildcat is also great....a bit longer and more adventurous.

Loon = right off I93 & lots of things to do in nearby in town and I93 area.
Wildcat = out of the way and not much extra town stuff.

BOTH are well worth it!

and help them pay back the bond. My sister went with about 8 of her friends. I followed them around and did their photo shoot, they had a blast. Super great staff nothing like some of the stodginess that happens during the winter. I for one prefer to keep my feet closer to Mother Nature. :D

Gunstock's zip lines are impressive. It's broken up into a short (steep) drop from the summit and a looooooooooooong line from the next platform.

If you want shorter lines from lesser elevations, Gunstock also has the Aerial Treetop Adventure ropes course, which progresses across four or five stages, which includes a number of zip lines. It's a blast, and my son and I have done it a couple of times. It takes a little while, although you do not have to complete the entire course. A really fun day, either way.

Groupon has an offer right now for Gunstock.
I just purchased a 'zip' for myself - I've never been so I saved $20!:)

Yeah -- I meant to say to look for coupons. We've done both the zip lines and the Aerial Treetops at 2-for-1 deals. Pretty expensive otherwise.
