I have an 07 Dodge Caravan that needs a checkup before a big roadtrip. Any suggestions for reliable work and fair prices? I don't want to get stranded by overlooking a repair, but...I don't want to get handed a big expensive laundry list of unnecessary work either. I was considering heading to a dealer (Rochester, Concord, Tilton) since the last estimate I got for work on another car from a local shop was more than the dealer was charging for the same work.
Recommendations?

I've used MPL Car Repair on S. Main St Laconia in the past.

Small shop, nice people !
They did the job right at a fair price.
But like any place you select, you have to do your homework first !
One person's experience may be totally different than anothers'.
Good luck !

Are they the people right across the street from the airport? Isn't there a tire sign out front or something like that or am I thinking of someone else?

Called Larson's Automotive.
On Airport Road.
It's the short road to the hanger at Moultonborough Airport.
Just past Independent Marine but on other side (the airport side).

Would be appreciated if we all found out where you went and how you made out.

The appt went well...the van got a clean bill of health, an oil change, and a new inspection sticker. The other car has an appointment next week...
