After more than 30 years in the car repair business, Richard Dame of Alton has retired. He always had a great reputation for honesty and good work.
He didn't have to look far to sell the business- he convinced his son Mark and his daughter in law, Cynthia to buy the business- so it is still called Dame's.
Mark and Cynthia along with their son moved back to town to take over the business. Mark had run the automotive repair shops of some big GM dealerships and wanted to get back home. He is so well versed in solving complex problems on the two cars and a truck I have- that I go to him first.
It is wonderful to have such a high level of friendly service so close to home.
They are located two doors down from the Alton Dunkin Donuts.
