Fly Fishing

My friend will be heading up to the lake with me for the first time this memorial day. He was hoping to do some fly fishing. I am not much of a fisherman and even less of a fly fisherman. I was hoping to be able to provide him with a few places he might like to try around the wolfeboro/tuftonboro area. Any suggestions would be well appreciated. Many thanks!

There is an excellent Rainbow location in Alton - New Durham.

Merrymeeting River.

Multiple access locations on rt 11 east as well as on Merrymeeting Lake rd.

Note, While you are up on Merrymeeting Lake rd., stop in and visit the NHF&G Powder Mill Hatchery = impressive.
