Saw the big accident near Ashland. It's hard to get timely weather updates for the route. For those of you who keep a weather eye out, can you let me know when we are expecting what over the next 24hrs? We are heading out tonight and hope to be there by tomorrow afternoon.

Should be OK until tomorrow afternoon. There were heavy isolated squalls from Plymouth to Center Harbor but they have let up.
...Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning...
* hazard types...snow...sleet...and freezing rain.
* Accumulations...snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches...along with around a tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing...snow is forecast to quickly overspread New Hampshire Saturday evening. Saturday night snow will mix with and change to sleet and freezing rain. By Sunday morning temperatures will warm above freezing and any remaining precipitation will change to rain.
* Impacts...the combination of snow...sleet...and freezing rain will create hazardous travel conditions. In addition...wet snow and glaze from freezing rain could lead to scattered power outages.
* Winds...southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
