From the Laconia Citizen today, Dec. 29th, here is a headline about Baltimore Ravens making the NFL playoffs. Ya gotta love auto-correct / auto-spell.

How many people looked at this before it went to press????
Hope this starts a Happy New Year for all.

It appears that they corrected it online, but the URL is still "birth"... LOL!

If you read the Citizen often you will notice multiple errors in almost every edition.
In past years in a story about the fire at the condos on Alton Bay the report called them "18,000 Sq. Ft. condos". I didn't think they were quite that big.
In a motorcycle accident story the report called the motorcycle a Honda at one point, and a Harley at another point. I emailed them and pointed out the error and the reply from the Citizen was that it was a Honda dressed to look like a Harley.
I enjoy reading the Laconia Sun online and stopped reading the Laconia Citizen when they started charging for it. I didn't think it was worth paying for.

I don't pay, but there are some stories you can read in full, some you can't. I also enjoy reading the LDS, although maybe not so many of the letters to the editor.
